Every year arthritis affects more and more people of all ages. But here's a few interesting facts you may not be aware of.

Number of Americans with arthritis or chronic joint symptoms:

• 1985 - 35 million
• 1990 - 37.9 million
• 1998 - nearly 43 million (1 in 6 people)

I'll bet many of you weren't aware of several of these facts. I know I was surprised and I suffer from arthritis in my back and thumb joints. It's painful and agonizing to say the least. Arthritis pain affects your life 24/7.
